Concession/Rink Monitor Employees
The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh is accepting resumes for the position of Concession/Rink Monitor Employees in the Parks & Recreation Services Department.
Reporting to the Manager Facilities, this position is responsible for daily sales of concession products; the preparation of food items; inventory and re-stocking of product; handling of cash and balancing of cash; maintenance of the concession area, as well as tracking public skating admissions and on-ice monitoring during public skating times.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must have experience in food preparation, cash handling and sales, along with related safety procedures. Candidates must be able to meet physical labour demands, work in extreme temperature conditions and the ability to adjust between a variety of duties. In addition, candidates must be able to ice skate, work in a team environment, have good time management skills and be reliable to work under minimal supervision. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who possess First Aid/CPR and Defibrillator certification.

The hourly rate of pay is $15.00 (2019), in accordance with the Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 702.13. The hours of work are generally afternoons and evenings on weekdays; and all day on weekends, as well as holidays. This position is subject to a probationary period of sixty (60) days of work.
