The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh is accepting resumes for the position of Pool Coordinator in the Parks & Recreation Services Department for the Summer of 2020.
Reporting to the Supervisor Recreation Programs & Events, the Pool Coordinators are responsible for the daily operation of the Tecumseh Leisure Pool, staff training, scheduling and supervision, program registrations and co-ordinating facility rentals.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must hold current National Lifeguard (NL), Lifesaving Instructor, Swim Instructor, CPR-C including Automatic External Defibrillator and Standard First Aid Certifications. National Lifeguard Instructor / Examiner Certification and Aquatic Supervisor Training are considered assets. All aquatic awards must be current and valid as a condition of employment; original qualifications MUST be presented at time of interview.
The above positions require evening, weekend and holiday working hours, starting in May 2020 to and including September 7, 2020. Successful applicants must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary or secondary institution.
